Colasa leant art as a child but found himself dissatisfied with the rules and system of pure art. Therefore, he expressed his artistic character by rebelling. With unconstrained techniques and experiments of mixing different materials, he brought together cement paint, paste filler, spray paint, and toner, in order to emphasis image access, blocking templates and transfer printing techniques. The works of Colasa express colors and languages of the street, and years of street art creation. His never-ending innovation never fails to surprise. With unique visual representations combined with Eastern ink painting, Colasa has gained reputation all over the world.
Over the years, Colasa has overturned people’s impressions of graffiti and the subculture it represents. He has repeatedly collaborated with many well-known brands, surprising viewer again and again. His working experience include French brand agnes’b -sport b, with whom he worked with in 2009 on the project [MESSAGE], also ADIDAS [ adidas is all in ] as the representative graffiti artist in 2011, the 1963 wall creation with Glenfiddich in 2014, the Taipei Regent opening of French luxury brand CHANEL in 2014, the press conference and art performance of SHU UEMURA ART OF HAIR in 2015. Apart from popular business performance activities, he has also been invited as guest to various international art exhibitions, such as 2015 Formosa Art Show, and has also been invited to join Art Stage Singapore in 2016, one of the main art exhibitions in Asia.
